A unique international franchise network of 11 European and Asian identity agencies has been established in a conference last weekend in Amsterdam. This broad European Asian alliance anticipates upcoming demand in their markets for a viable answer to the predominant Anglo-American mindset of the last decades.

Current economic views generally assert that firm links with the Anglo-American economies are a prerequisite for continued success, certainly when it comes to exporting products and services. The network share a firm vision on the next phase in the internationalisation of the economy. There is an increasing need for a viable, new alternative in the form of a broad alliance as compared with a predominantly Anglo-American owned international agency, which builds upon European values and experience. The network places its expertise in positioning, communication and design of corporate identities in the very centre of this new and innovative paradigm. Together they will serve to define and shape the new demands of the market.

In establishing a unique, international franchised network of agencies that share the same vision with respect to positioning, corporate design and communications strategy, concrete, proactive steps have been taken to capitalise on this trend. Drawing from their combined products and services, the agencies – based in countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, Sweden and Italy – serve common commercial and governmental markets in a characteristically non-Anglo-Saxon manner. Recent projects include corporate design programmes for the internationally operational BESIX Group and for Hyundai based in South Korea. The network also proves its worth in spreading its shared vision at international platforms in Taipei (Chinese Productivity Centre), Graz (PDA Conference) and Zurich (Design2context), to name a few.
