Ahrend has more than one hundred years experience and is leader in the Benelux, a brand with a rich history. The relationship with Total Design, Total Identity later, has been formed decades ago to include the development of the MEHES furniture concept and the development of corporate identity in the seventies.
From a strategic rapid phase resulted brand and market orientation in a new focus, a new pay-off and dynamic new brand. There is also the Co ¬ _Create Innovation has recently launched NOW NOW Flagship Store opened.
The new pay-off of Ahrend is Humanising_Spaces. It is based on the fact that Ahrend is shaping sustainable working, learning and living environments that are stimulating to the people that are moving. Based on co-creation Ahrend creates the conditions that enable people both individually and in combination with others to excel. "Humanising_Spaces would literally say to human spaces," said Hans P Brandt, strategic director of Total Identity on the new pay-off of Ahrend. "People thrive on travel, both physically and mentally," says Remon van Rijn, Marketing Communications Manager at Ahrend. "People in their social context, the right space and the means: that is what matters to Humanising_Spaces."
Innovation
Co_Create NOW is the new innovation platform for Ahrend. Ahrend urges others to jointly innovative, inspiring and effective working environments. "That customers are architects, specifiers and other specialists," says Brandt. "The wishes of the working practices vary greatly per customer. They are thus collectively entered specifically for each customer. " Van Rijn adds: "We now see new opportunities that go far beyond the systematic placement of tables, chairs and cabinets. We know how people move, how they function optimally, communicate and excel. Independently and in interaction with others. We do not make predictions about here, here and now we're working with other parties on the cutting edge of our field. "
Interaction
The naming of the flagship store was also owned by Total Identity. The here and now is the connection between past and future and that is reflected in the NOW Flagship Store. Brandt: "The Flagship Store is NOW more than a showroom. It is a platform for sharing ideas and inspiration through workshops and theme nights. It is also an important tool for the customer and truly understand its underlying questions, and then together the best solutions. " That revised customer focus with good reason: "The customer is in power, free in his choices and critical."
